Garcelle Beauvais Gets an Earful From Her Twins�

Lady Gaga: Amy Winehouse "Gave Me Hope"
During a Los Angeles radio appearance on Thursday, Lady Gaga shared her thoughts on the passing of Amy Winehouse -- and told the emotional story behind her power ballad "The Edge of Glory."
"I didn't know Amy (Winehouse); I just loved her so much," Gaga told KIIS-FM's JoJo Wright. "I was such a huge fan, and I was a go-go dancer in New York when she was really big. So Amy gave me hope."
This account came days after Lady Gaga took to Twitter to express her grief and sadness after 27-year-old Winehouse died suddenly -- possibly from alcohol withdrawal -- in her London home on July 23. "Amy changed pop music forever, I remember knowing there was hope, and feeling not alone because of her. She lived jazz, she lived the blues," tweeted Gaga on July 24.
While on the radio, the singer also shared the powerful story of how her grandfather's death led her to write "The Edge of Glory." Watch her emotional retelling below.
"I had never experienced death before in my family -- it was my very first time," Gaga recalls. "And my grandmother and grandfather were married sixty years, and my grandmother was a virgin when she got married. So there was this purity between the two of them. And I just remember feeling so sad, and yet I knew that when he looked at her and she looked back -- even though he couldn't really move -- they both sort of acknowledged that they had won at life, because they won at love with each other."
When Gaga and her father returned home from their visit, they began doing tequila shots ("I've got that kind of relationship with my dad," she notes). While they were reminiscing and drinking, she sat down at the piano and wrote "The Edge of Glory."
"And my dad never really wrote music with me, but he was always kind of around the piano when I was a kid going, 'Yeah kid, that's good! That note right there, that's the one! That's the lyric right there!'" says Gaga. "So I was crying and he was crying and I was writing this song, and he was saying, 'That's it, that's it.' So for some reason, I felt like I was able to express what my dad couldn't express, which was what was so hard was [for my dad] to watch [my grandfather] be on the edge, to watch him cross over but not be there yet.”
In the process of making the "Edge of Glory" video, Gaga had to mourn the passing of another man close to her: saxophonist Clarence Clemons, who plays on the song.
"Clarence was on the video, and he and I became very close friends and I viewed him as a father figure in my life," she says. "And he died the day the music video came out."
"I'm just glad that Grandpa and Clarence are up in heaven together," Gaga says with a smile. And with Amy Winehouse up there too, there's bound to be some beautiful music in the clouds.

Zara Phillips and Mike Tindall: Married!
Zara Phillips and Mike Tindall were married in a royal wedding fit for the Queen's granddaughter today. William and Kate were there to watch his cousin wed!
Zara, Prince William's cousin and 13th in line to the throne (William's #2 behind his father), and Mike, England's rugby team captain, tied the knot in Edinburgh.
The 3 p.m. ceremony took place at Canongate Kirk, the historic, small Church of Scotland venue where the Queen worships when she stays in the city.
The bride made her arrival at a fashionably late six minutes past the hour in an ivory silk and satin gown by Stewart Parvin, the personal couturier to the Queen.
She accessorized with Jimmy Choo shoes and a tiara on loan from Princess Anne. Mike Tindall wore a suit with coattails and a light grey stripe on the trouser legs.
Princess Beatrice was among the first guests to arrive, wearing a turquoise hat with matching floral dress. Prince William and Kate Middleton (who wore a cream suit and matching hat) pulled up right afterwards in a black Jaguar.
Princess Anne and her husband Tim Laurence followed and then another car brought Prince Charles and Camilla, also dressed in cream.
The guests posed for the throngs of people lining the narrow, cobblestone streets, while HRM Queen Elizabeth II herself, in a dignified peach dress and hat, and Prince Phillip smiled to the crowd upon their arrival.
The reception will be held at the Palace of Holyroodhouse, the Queen’s nearby residence. Zara spent many school holidays visiting her grandmother there.
The Queen is donating the use of her residence as the wedding reception venue for $60,000, which is being closed to the public for five days.
It will cost local officials a reported $800,000 to police the wedding, including marksmen at vantage points to protect the royal guests.
With guests expected to number no more than 300, Zara looked forward to a private, family affair - quite different from her cousin's in April.
"My wedding will be nothing like Kate and William's," Phillips said last month. For a start, there won't be anywhere near as many people."
"It will be a lot smaller, just close family and friends. Kate and William's wedding was amazing but ours will be very different."

Box Office: "The Smurfs" & "Cowboys & Aliens" Neck-In-Neck
Making for the closest race in months, "The Smurfs" and "Cowboys & Aliens" are neck-in-neck when it comes to box office earnings over the weekend of July 28-30, 2011.
The Neil Patrick Harris/ Sofia Vergara fronted "Smurfs" film garnered approximately $13 million on Friday while trending towards a total of $40 million on its opening weekend.
Meanwhile, Daniel Craig and Olivia Wilde's sci-fi/thriller "Cowboys & Aliens" has exactly the same numbers thus far, making #13 million on opening day en route to an estimated $40 million weekend.
Rounding out the top five at the box office are the Chris Evans spearheaded "Captain America: The First Avenger" ($25 million), followed by "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2" ($22 million) and "Crazy, Stupid, Love" ($20 million).

Ryan Gosling or George Clooney Who Is Hotter?
The poster for the political drama The Ides of March has been revealed showing the faces of Ryan Gosling and George Clooney morphed together. Seeing these two together got me wondering who is hotter? Both Ryan Gosling and George Clooney are drop dead gorgeous there is no debating that. However seeing their two faces morphed together, which yes is creepy when you first look at it, really made me ask, who is the better looking of the two? Or are they both equally hot? Stereo Installer Sues "Druggie" Lindsay Lohan
Lindsay Lohan just cannot stay out of legal predicaments.
Her latest debacle? Getting sued by a guy who installed a stereo for her, says he got stiffed, and is ALL fired up, taking shot after shot at the star.
Stephen Clark is suing LiLo for more than $1,100, claiming she stiffed him on an installation in her Venice home while she was on house arrest.

We obviously don't know what went on, but is anyone surprised?!
The correspondence between Lindsay and Clark is ... interesting.
In the first exchange, obtained by TMZ, Clark wrote: "Hi Lindsay! Well, I sent you two invoices and several BBMs and texts. I have never heard back from you."
"I guess you just aren't going to pay for my labor or your equipment."
Clark continued: "I am sorry, but I cannot let that much money go."
Lindsay Lohan then responded, "Sorry!! I will have it to you this wk! I'm changing business managers and such so I'm trying to handle it asap."
But time passed, and Lindsay never got back to or paid him.
An irate Clark wrote again to Lohan, "You're a RECOVERING addict who goes to the santa monica probation dept. Should I share this as well?"
Finally, he hilariously added this dig: "You're a born druggie!!"
Clark is suing Lindsay in small claims court. Good luck to him.

So last nights RHONY part one reunion was off the chain. The ladies just couldn?t stop arguing and yelling, to the point where Andy Cohen told them they were beasts! Get the deets here. James Franco Books "Long Term" Return to 'General Hospital'
Brace yourself, General Hospital fans: James Franco is coming back to Port Charles! TV Guide reports that Franco will be be reprising his role as Robert "Franco" Frank, daytime television's favorite serial killer/performance artist. And this time, he's here to stay.
While Franco is not actually joining the cast full-time, his new GH arc is being described as "long term" -- meaning he'll stick around through the fall, and possibly longer. A rep describes the new story arc as Franco's "most twisted plan yet," and will reveal only that his latest scheme will entangle Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), Carly Jacks (Laura Wright) and Carly's baby Josslyn. TV Guide points out that Franco's return will coincide with the wedding of Hunky hit man (and "Franco" crush object) Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) to Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco). The artist has already bombed one wedding; doe he plan to thwart this one, too?
This new stint will mark Franco's fourth story line on GH since 2009. The character of Franco was written specifically for the Oscar-nominated actor, who has spoken highly of his experience on the show. Like his GH character, Franco is fond of creating bizarre art; in May, he carved the name of actor Brad Renfro into his arm while being videotaped, and in June, he started selling invisible sculptures and costumes on the Internet. Unlike his alter ego, the real Franco hasn't set off any bombs and doesn't have a crush on a hit man.
He does, however, have a full plate: His new sci-fi action movie Rise of the Planet of the Apes opens Aug. 5 and, in addition to his GH stint, James is set to star in the Broadway revival of Tennessee Williams' Sweet Bird of Youth this fall.
Franco's new General Hospital story line kicks off on September 20.

Elle Fanning's Funky Grocery Store Specs
Stepping out for some personal errands, Elle Fanning was spotted out in Los Angeles, CA on Tuesday (July 26).
The ?Super 8? gal looked cute in a floral dress and some funky-rimmed specs as she exited Ralph's grocery store and flashed her adorable smile for the on-hand paparazzi.
In other news, Ms Fanning graces the cover of LOVE magazine?s sixth issue, which hits stands on August 1.
The 13-year-old portrays an angelic look for the cover in a lacey ensemble and prayful hands.

Go see Captain America this weekend! Support our Colin!
I went to the premiere on Tuesday and it was the coolest thing ever. First, the movie is AMAZING and Chris Evans is a superstar. Second, there were so many damn people there it was insane. I have been to movie premieres in New York before and they were nothing like this. I mean, they closed down Hollywood Boulevard. I would've taken photos to show you, but the invite said to leave phones in the car. But here's a photo of me in my cool Captain America 3D glasses:

President Obama Interrupts 'Bachelorette'; Fans Freak Out
We get that what’s going on with the national debt crisis is important and all, but is it so important it warranted interrupting a pivotal moment of The Bachelorette? Nick Lachey: Vanessa Minnillo's Wedding Dress "Took My Breath Away"
Nick Lachey's wedding to Vanessa Minnillo was all he could have dreamed of, especially when he saw his bride walking down the aisle. "It literally took my breath away," he says. "It's a moment you fantasize about, and I was certainly not disappointed."
The couple tied the knot on July 15 on Sir Richard Branson's private Necker Island, surrounded by a small group of 35 guests that they surprised with the trip. Though Lachey, 37, and Minnillo, 30, wanted to embrace their island surroundings, the couple also wanted very traditional aspects incorporated into their big day.
"I wanted to be in that long traditional wedding gown with heels and I wanted my groom in a tux and shoes and not barefoot on the beach," Minnillo, who wore a two-piece Monique Lhuillier gown, says in the new issue of People. "There was just something so timeless, beautiful and romantic about having that element of a traditional wedding."
The four-day wedding getaway was everything the bride and groom hoped it would be, and they even managed to get by without any of those pre-wedding jitters.
"We realized it wasn't about stressing over how many tiers there were on the cake," says Minnillo. Adds Lachey: "We're determined to have a great time no matter what!"

Zach Braff Not Gay, Despite What His Website Says
Fans of actor Zach Braff were surprised to read an announcement on his website Wednesday morning that he was "an open member of the homosexual community" -- but not nearly as surprised as Braff himself. The Scrubs star subsequently revealed that his website had been hacked, and he was still happily dating British model Taylor Bagley (who is, as far as we can tell, female).
TMZ has a screen cap of the fake site update, which was posted by a hacker at 3 a.m. on Wednesday morning. In a note addressed to his "loyal fans," fake-Braff claims that he has been "hiding a secret inside me for too long."
The statement continues: "The human mind can only bare so much before it explodes in emotions and well ... it is time to let the world know. I am excited and proud to announce that I am an open member of the homosexual community.
"This is not news to those closest to me, and I honor that they have kept it a secret for such a long time," fake-Braff adds. "This doesn't change anything. I am still Zach Braff and I am the same man I've always been, gay or not."
Braff's website now points to the website of Second Stage Theatre in New York City, which is currently showing Zach's new off-Broadway play All Good People.

Hugh Grant Nabs Small Win in Phone-Hacking Case
He's been spearheading the celebrity fight against the tabloid phone-hackers, and today (July 20) Hugh Grant has earned a small victory for all of his hard work.
During the court hearing, a British judge granted the "Notting Hill" actor the right to see all evidence that he and his former girlfriend, Jemima Khan?s voice messages were hacked.
As part of the ever-evolving scandal surrounding Rupert Murdoch's now-defunct "News of the World," Grant had requested that the documents illicitly collected by private investigator Glenn Mulcaire be released to him.
Back in 2007, Mulcaire spent six months behind bars after pleading guilty to intercepting phone messages of royal aids on behalf of Murdoch's media empire.

"Dream House" Trailer: Watch Now!
Adding even more suspense to the highly-anticipated thriller flick, the official trailer for Jim Sheridan's "Dream House" has been released.
The eerie new clip offers up the a little of what fans can expect from the cast, which includes A-listers Daniel Craig, Naomi Watts and Rachel Weisz.
The R-rated film centers around a family who unknowingly moves into home where numerous murders previously occurred - leaving their dream house to become a house of horrors as they find themselves haunted by the same vicious killer.
You can catch all the chills and thrills when "Dream House" hits theaters September 30.

Besides, as it turned out, he was telling the truth?)
Anyhoo, I've got a lot to tell you about gardening! (Did you know if you get dirt wet it turns into mud? Yuck.)

Eric Dane Checks Into Rehab
Celebrities and rehab go hand-in-hand, and the latest star to check himself into a clinic is none other than Eric Dane.
According to a report, the ?Grey?s Anatomy? hunk headed in for a 30-day stint at The Hills Treatment Center in Los Angeles last month.
Dane?s reason for rehab is to wean himself off of a pain medication he was taking for a previous sports injury.
Eric will return to work next week, as his wife Rebecca Gayheart is home pregnant with their second child.
