Patrick Dempsey Leaving Grey?s Anatomy

Sigh… Oh, McDreamy, how I will miss thee! Rumor has it that Patrick Dempsey will be leaving Grey’s Anatomy after the upcoming eighth season. Waaaah waaaaah waaaaah. Sob. Sob. Sob. I know scores of women (and men) are feeling that exact same sentiment upon learning that Dr. McDreamy will no longer walk the halls of Seattle Grace. I need a minute to regroup. The news comes to us by way of Italian Vanity Fair, where he told the magazine that next season is his last. “I do not know what’s going to happen to the other characters, but for me it’s done. (‘Grey’s Anatomy’ has) been great and a great part of my life, but I can’t see me doing it anymore.” Nooooo. I am in complete denial that this is happening. There may be a ray of hope, though. His publicist told Entertainment Weekly that what was printed in the mag were Dempsey’s words misconstrued. Um, huh?
