Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy and the rest of the gang are returning to the big-screen in the upcoming film The Muppets. And this time, the lovable muppets are joined by some human (and hilarious!) friends: Jason Segel and Amy Adams.
Disney first played coy by releasing teaser trailers for the fictional movies Green with Envy (a typical romantic comedy), Fuzzy Pack (a take on The Hangover Part II) and Being Green (a spoof of The Green Lantern). At the end of the Being Green trailer, Segel asks, "Is this another Muppet trailer parody? Why don't just show a real trailer? What are we hiding?"
Well, here it is! And it turns out they weren't hiding anything.
In the official trailer, The Muppets joyfully reunite as they attempt to revive their former glory as a traveling band. The big dance numbers, tongue-in-cheek humor and memorable cast members (Beaker! Animal! Swedish Chef!) should make The Muppets a must-see family-friendly movie.
