Britney Spears will be honored, and appearing, at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards. The network has released a special promo featuring the singer.
The 30-second spot melds the songs of Britney - looking happier and healthier than we've seen her in forever - with Janet Jackson's "Rhythm Nation" and Madonna's "Everybody" as dancers in vintage Spears attire around her.
There's also a nod to Michael Jackson, if you can spot it:
