All eyes are on the royal couple -- but this time it's not Prince William and Kate Middleton that everyone is buzzing about.
Prince Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson are in the news for being linked with a rich sex offender from the United States; the Prince was spotted in a picture with an underage woman at the man's home and the Duchess of York admitted taking money from the man to help pay off her debts.
Ferguson said she accepted about $24,500 from Jeffrey Epstein, who pleaded guilty in 2008 to two prostitution offenses in Florida and was sentenced to 18 months in prison and a year under house arrest. Prosecutors said Epstein paid several girls younger than 18 for naked massages that sometimes became sexual encounters.
The duchess said she hadn't known about his background and promised to repay the money. "I am just so contrite I cannot say," she said. "Whenever I can I will repay the money and will have nothing ever to do with Jeffrey Epstein ever again."
Meanwhile, British newspapers showed photographs of Andrew with his arm around a young woman who says she is one of Epstein's underage victims. There has been no suggestion, however, that Andrew was involved in an inappropriate relationship with her.
For Ferguson, it's just the latest in a string of what appears to be questionable choices. Over the years, she has been photographed topless with a boyfriend and last year, she was caught on video seeming to sell access to Andrew for cash. Viewers will soon be able to get a better look at Fergie; she is now making a reality show, Finding Sarah, that will air on the Oprah Winfrey Network.
