Motherhood couldn't come a moment too soon for Jessica Simpson.
It hasn't actually come yet, but why would that stop OK! from fronting like it's breaking the news of the birth of the 31-year-old's daughter Maxi? Silly question.
Misleading headlines aside, Jessica has longed for a baby her whole life, and now that blessed event is finally here ... or at least will be in the next month or so.
"I can't wait to just hold her in my arms," she said, in one of the most normal Jessica Simpson quotes about pregnancy. "At this point, I am really ready."
An insider notes that "Jessica is going to be the most unbelievable mother ... she’s taken to it like a duck to water.” Because people really talk like that.
“She talks to the baby and already feels like she knows her. She sings to her all the time, too. “It’s sweet, the baby already has songs written for her!”
As for her fiancé, Eric Johnson?
“Eric is going to be an unbelievable dad,” gushed Jessica earlier this year. While first-time parenting can be scary, these two seem like they've got it together.
So much so, it's unbelievable, you could say.
