Joe Giudice: Caught Cheating on Wife?
On the August 19 episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Joe Giudice is either caught cheating on his wife or just being a total A-Hole.
Then again, why can't it be both?
According to In Touch, which has reportedly viewed scenes from the installment, Joe receives a phone call during a surprise birthday party for Caroline Manzo. He says it's related to "work" and gets up from the table.
From there, the camera captures a frustrated/suspicious Teresa approaching her man and Joe responding by lowering his voice and telling the person on other end of the call:
“Here comes my bitch wife. She’s such a c-nt. I’m gonna hang up … I’ll talk to you, like, whenever.”
Evidence of infidelity? Or just hating on Teresa? Or just a nicely scripted few moments by producers?
No matter the answer, Joe Giudice has been anything but a saint in his marriage. He's been indicted on charges of fraud and he once frequented a strip club.

Los Angeles
I'm here! I'm here! And I saw my first gang-banger get arrested yesterday so I feel like a total Angeleno.
I'm getting ready to go to the gym (again, like a total Angeleno!) so I will update later about my run-ins with Alexander Skarsgard, Pauly Shore, and Jeremy or Jason London (I'm not sure which one it was and seeing if I could force him to do drugs to find out seemed unfair. Besides, as it turned out, he was telling the truth?)
Anyhoo, I've got a lot to tell you about gardening! (Did you know if you get dirt wet it turns into mud? Yuck.)
And bumpers! (They don't bump off anything... they go, "Scraaaaaaaatch!")
And there's probably more but, again, I have to go because I have to get to the gym!

Jeremy Renner Arrives in Style at "Bourne Legacy" Aussie Premiere
Taking his motorcycle out for a spin, Jeremy Renner made his way into the Sydney premiere of ?The Bourne Legacy? on Tuesday night (August 7).
The 41-year-old actor looked extremely handsome in a fitted Dolce and Gabbana suit with Christian Louboutin lace up shoes as he talked to the press at the State Theater down under.
The ?Avengers? star plays an entirely new character, agent Aaron Cross, whose own on-the-run story takes place concurrently with the events of 2007's "The Bourne Ultimatum," which starred Damon.
"It's not a prequel or a sequel, it's the same time-quel," franchise producer Frank Marshall told reporters.
"There was a misconception that Jeremy was replacing Matt," said Marshall. "That was the one thing we wanted to make clear - they're different agents. Bourne is still out there and Aaron Cross has now come in."

Captain America
Go see Captain America this weekend! Support our Colin!
I went to the premiere on Tuesday and it was the coolest thing ever. First, the movie is AMAZING and Chris Evans is a superstar. Second, there were so many damn people there it was insane. I have been to movie premieres in New York before and they were nothing like this. I mean, they closed down Hollywood Boulevard. I would've taken photos to show you, but the invite said to leave phones in the car. But here's a photo of me in my cool Captain America 3D glasses:

John Travolta Denies Cruise Ship Sex Assault
John Travolta is finally firing back at Fabian Zanzi, the one-time cruise ship worker who accused the Hollywood legend of sexually assaulting him in 2009.
Travolta filed legal documents yesterday claiming the employee is lying.
Fabian Zanzi claims Travolta exposed himself during a neck massage aboard a Royal Caribbean cruise, then offered to pay him $12,000 to keep it quiet.
Zanzi detailed his salacious allegations in a lawsuit back in June.
Travolta's attorney, Marty Singer, responded to the claim, admitting John was on the cruise but denying all the allegations of misconduct against him.
Singer notes that Zanzi filed a report with Royal Caribbean over the alleged incident when it happened, but failed to mention any of the sexual details.
Travolta, who was also accused of similar actions by two male masseurs this spring, wants the lawsuit dismissed and for Zanzi to pay his legal fees.
Separately, Doug Gotterba and Robert Randolph have both alleged sexual relationships with Travolta; he has denied or not responded to all claims.

Spinoff series aren?t always sure fire hits, but it seems Nicole ?Snooki? Polizzi and Jenni ?JWoww? Farley have struck gold twice.
According to a report, the New Jersey party girls have garnered a second season for their hit MTV reality show ?Snooki & JWoww.?
And since Nicole?s baby is due in the weeks to come, it?s assumed the new season will deal with her transition into motherhood.

HGTV, LA and Dining Room Tables
I've been watching a lot of HGTV since coming to LA. My favorite shows are House Hunters and House Hunters International. There's also another show I like to watch called For Rent, but only because it makes me angry.
When it comes to apartments/homes, I think living in New York for the past eleven years has made me bitter because there was this whiny broad on For Rent a few nights ago who was looking at a huge place—A HUGE PLACE—and was like, "There's no place for a dining room table..."

I hated her.
Now there's some stupid lady on House Hunters who wants a townhouse with a fireplace that she can turn on with a light switch. IT HAS TO BE A LIGHT SWITCH because she doesn't want to bend down and flip a switch on the floor.
WHO DO THESE PEOPLE THINK THEY ARE?
Anyway, I know my LA update is WAY overdue (and truth be told I wrote a long one last week but for some reason it didn't save so I lost the whole thing and I was so angry that I just said, "Ah, f*ck it," and closed the computer instead of rewriting) but to give you a quick update, I AM SO HAPPY HERE. I MEAN, I'M REALLY, REALLY HAPPY. And I think living here and watching HGTV—both of these things combined—has made me realize that New York was just beating me down. I mean, the fireplace lady—yes, she's an idiot. But there's nothing wrong with wanting a dining room table. Why did I get so mad at that lady?
Since being here, at least once a day I ask myself why I have lived in New York for so long. (It's like I had Stockholm Syndrome or something.) CALIFORNIA IS AWESOME. It's like the promised land. It's sunny all the time and there are birds and flowers everywhere. I have space out here. I have a sofa on the patio out here. I HAVE A SOFA OUTSIDE. I haven't seen one rat since I've been here. But hummingbirds? THEY ZIP BY MY HEAD EVERY DAY. I am so happy.
I'm supposed to go back to New York in November, but truth be told, I'm not sure I will.

The crew was hesitant at first, but eventually obliged, stripping down and preparing for the scene in their underwear. After that, things went great!
One would think that Lindsay Lohan, whose Playboy photos were among the most-viewed in the magazine's history, would be totally uninhibited.
Then again, one would think a lot of things about Lindsay Lohan that aren't true. Girl has a tendency of defying logic ... as well as many, many laws.

"The Hobbit" Officially Announces Three-Part Film Plans
Sending Middle-Earth fans into a frenzy, Peter Jackson has confirmed "The Hobbit" has officially become a trilogy after announcing on Monday (July 30) plans for a third film instead of the originally scheduled two.
Sharing the news through his facebook page, the franchise's director explained, "We know how much of the story of Bilbo Baggins, the Wizard Gandalf, the Dwarves of Erebor, the rise of the Necromancer, and the Battle of Dol Guldur will remain untold if we do not take this chance."
The epic fantasy-adventure tale will begin this December when the first installment titled "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" opens with the follow-up film dubbed "The Hobbit: There and Back Again" due in December 2013.
Now, the pair of highly-anticipated flicks will be capped off by a third motion picture which is expected to hit theaters sometime in Summer 2014.

"It is only at the end of a shoot that you finally get the chance to sit down and have a look at the film you have made. Recently Fran, Phil and I did just this when we watched for the first time an early cut of the first movie ? and a large chunk of the second. We were really pleased with the way the story was coming together, in particular, the strength of the characters and the cast who have brought them to life. All of which gave rise to a simple question: do we take this chance to tell more of the tale? And the answer from our perspective as the filmmakers, and as fans, was an unreserved ?yes.?
We know how much of the story of Bilbo Baggins, the Wizard Gandalf, the Dwarves of Erebor, the rise of the Necromancer, and the Battle of Dol Guldur will remain untold if we do not take this chance. The Hobbit Trilogy: Confirmed By Peter Jackson!
Peter Jackson's upcoming saga The Hobbit will be three films, the director confirmed on his Facebook page. Previously, only a sequel had been confirmed.
He called the expansion to three films "an unexpected journey indeed, and in the words of Professor Tolkien himself, 'A tale that grew in the telling'."
"...On behalf of New Line Cinema, Warner Bros. Pictures, MGM and the entire [cast and crew], I’d like to announce that two films will become three."
The first installment, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey will hit theaters December 14, with the second film already set for December 13, 2013.
Jackson made no mention of a schedule for the third film, but said after watching the first and shooting part of the second, a trilogy felt necessary.
"It is only at the end of a shoot that you finally get the chance to sit down and have a look at the film you have made," he said in his statement.
"Recently I did just this when we watched for the first time an early cut of the first movie - and a large chunk of the second."

Norman Alden Dies at 87
Norman Alden, a veteran character actor who starred in hundreds of TV shows, films and commercials over the years, has died at the age of 87.
His family told The Hollywood Reporter that Alden - who made an estimated 2,500 (!) appearances on camera - died of natural causes in L.A.
Frequently cast as a tough guy over his 50-year-career, Alden was also the voice of superhero Aquaman in the 1970s cartoon Super Friends.
He also appeared in Back to the Future (above) and Ed Wood.
Robert Alden's career spanned more than half a century.
He was in TV series such as Charlie's Angels, JAG and Batman, where he played one of the Joker's henchmen, and in AC Delco commercials.
In the mid 1970s, he starred in episodes of spoof TV soap Mary Hartman before his character Coach Leroy Fedders drowned in a bowl of soup.
On film, Alden also played Johnny Ringo in 1961's The Life and Legend of Wyatt Earp, and voiced Sir Kay in Disney's The Sword in the Stone.

Did they or didn't they? That's the question concerning Rihanna and Chris Brown this week.
Days after the latter singer's rep shot down reports of this former couple reuniting on a yacht in St. Tropez, an insider tells Us Weekly that the pair DID, indeed, get together.
As Twitter photos have depicted, Rihanna and friends have been shopping and sunning in St. Tropez for awhile now and this source tells the tabloid she "changed her plans" last Friday night after hearing Brown was on his way to the area.
She allegedly called her ex from a satellite phone and arranged to meet him on his ridiculous mode of transportation: a yacht with a submarine, pool and two helicopter landings, which Brown is renting (for $400,000/week) along with Swizz Beatz and Ludacris for a music video shoot.
"Rihanna went and partied hard with the guys on their yacht," the mole claims.
Brown's current squeeze, Karrueche Tran, was also on board the vehicle, according to this source, and may not even have been aware that Rihanna was around. We'd doubt the validity of that report, but did you read the description of the yacht?!?
